Dr. Graff was pleased to tell us that from the sonogram she could report a 30% reduction in the size of the tumor...a reduction from 1.5 cm to 1.1 cm. She seemed very pleased with this information so I guess we should be, too!!!!!
This is awesome. Dr Graff told us at the beginning that the chemo was intended to kill any little escaped cells, the microscopic ones, to prevent recurrence. Surgery will remove the primary tumor. The fact that the mass is shrinking means you and the chemo are one fine tuned killing machine!!! Go mom go!
